4. Climate Change
Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation
Work on climate change mitigation by encouraging local partners to reduce
carbon dioxide emissions and embed a low-carbon culture in the region.
Raise awareness and understanding of government policy on climate change
adaptation, particularly the new requirements of the Climate Change Act.

5. Family Poverty
Raise the profile and ensure emphasis on family and child poverty in the
