Sue has over 20 years experience in the public sector and joined the Government Office in 1994. She has been involved in delivering the community safety agenda since 2001.
As Head of Division for Safer, Stronger Communities and Deputy Home Office Regional Deputy Director, Sue is currently responsible for overseeing the Government Office work with partnerships to deliver improved community safety outcomes. This agenda aims to create safer, stronger and more inclusive communities and it includes:
- anti-social behaviour
- alcohol
- crime
- offender management.
