We work closely with the Arts Council North, to strengthen relationships,
share knowledge and raise awareness of policies and issues that could
impact on the cultural agenda in the region. Government Office is acutely
aware of the impact culture has on policies such as children and young
people, health, economy, creative industries and digital.
We recently took part in Arts Council England’s National Arts
Strategy consultation on their future priorities for the arts. Our input
will help inform ACE North East's long term strategic framework and their
future investment decisions.
