We work in partnership with these bodies to address the future of farming,
develop thriving rural economies and communities, and deliver a countryside
for all to enjoy. We also work across the region to coordinate and deliver
policy relating to the environment and energy, such as the North
East Strategy for the Environment, Energy White Paper, the Regional
Forest Strategy and biodiversity.
The Rural Development Programme for England (2007-2013) is
delivered by Natural England, One North East and the Forestry
