The main purpose of these visits is to:
- satisfy Government Office that the project is proceeding well
- review the adequacy of systems and procedures
- ensure that the project is operating in accordance with the terms of the offer letter.
It should be noted that the visit would include a financial examination to ensure that a proper audit trail is in place.
