Redefining progress on sustainability in the North East

Sustaine, the North East Regional Information Partnership (NERIP) and One NorthEast are holding a joint seminar in July. The seminar will explore the challenges of achieving sustainable economic growth, in the context of the integrated regional strategy. It includes a sub-regional perspective, and workshops looking at the balance and tensions between economic development, social cohesion and environmental limits.

The seminar will be held on Wednesday 16 July 2008, at St James’ Park, Newcastle upon Tyne. Registration is from 10.30, it will start at 11.00 and finish at 3.00, and includes lunch. Attendance is free of charge.
