Public Health Intelligence
Public Health North East works closely with North East Public Health
Observatory (NEPHO), which has an important role in increasing awareness of
public health issues and in identifying wider causes of illness.
The main aim of NEPHO is to monitor and evaluate the health of
the regional populations by analysing information and assessing health
trends.
